Pulse-oximeter vingerclip

The oximeter or oximeter or pulse oximeter measures the arterial arterial oxygen saturation in the blood. This is done by an optical measuring principle with illumination of the skin by monochromatic LEDs of different wavelengths. The sensor measures the amount of light and gives the meter a calculation of oxygen saturation SpO2. The meter also determines the patient's pulse rate.
